Book Review
One of the worst things about most poker books and poker instructional manuals, including great works like Doyle Brunson's Super System and Sklansky's The Theory of Poker is that they are ultimately boring to read. When well known poker pro and poker commentator (from Celebrity Poker Showdown) Phil Gordon decided to write his own addition to the poker pantheon, he made it a point to avoid this pitfall by writing a book that is not only instructive and intelligent, but easy to read. Phil Gordon gained fame not only from his commentating but from his play on shows like World Poker Tour and the WSOP broadcasts on ESPN. Phil Gordon was a student at Georgia Tech and has appeared on NBC's National Heads Up Poker Championship. For more poker strategy and book reviews check out Money Poker Bonus.
